WELCOME TO
PINK FLOYD UNIVERSITY…
HOME OF THE OFFICIAL
PINK FLOYD CORRESPONDENCE COURSE
Due to the overwhelming response and interest in the Pink Floyd college courses I designed and taught back in 2000 (in the state of Washington) — I have finally taken the time to create a course that ANY Pink Floyd Fan can participate in and relish – regardless of where they live in the world!
It all began in 2000, when I designed and taught two Pink Floyd College Courses – Pink Floyd 101 and 102. While these courses included a great deal of material, they were, nevertheless, limited in content by the length of the classes. Ten years later, and at the continued request of my fellow Floydians, I have now created a comprehensive course that is no longer limited to a quarter or a semester!
As you can see from this image (taken from the course catalog in 2000 from Renton Technical College in Washington) there was a great deal of ground covered in those classes, but NOTHING compared to what I have designed NOW!
And so I welcome you to explore the site to learn more about the course — about what is included in the curriculum — why I can honestly call it “OFFICIAL” — what you ultimately receive as a graduate — and MORE! Please understand that this site is NOT an interactive one. The course content will be sent to you — one section at a time — either in e-mails (provided you have a PC) or via snail mail. This site is designed to merely provide you with information ABOUT the course. And lastly – due to the concerns of not wanting to be buried in work for the rest of my life – I have opted to limit the number of students taking this course — at any given time —to 200. I do not have any staff or employees — I am it. I normally score each exam that comes to me within 2 or 3 days from the time I receive it. So everything is sent to you directly from me or comes back directly to me. In this course, you will deal with no one but the Professor!
I sincerely look forward to counting YOU among the graduates of The Official Pink Floyd Correspondence Course — the only one in the world!
Thank you very much indeed!
Professor Karl Anderson
